Angry Big Bore VS Supercharger. Reliability.

Lets just say I want the best for my bike.
I dont feel that it Lacks power...I just want the best for it.

Thus...reliability is the most impostant factor.

What options do I have.

Should I go for the wiseco pistons or a supercharger?

Looking forward to a fiery conversation.

Forget the Supercharger - too many unknowns with this setup right now, if you are referring to the V&H or Sprintex units..

I have to say IMHO since V&H have been out of the picture - I have not heard any horror stories.

Actually (even though its still new) the feedback on the Re-designed Patrick/Sprintex SC has been very positive.

Agreed that the new unit is alot better thna the old pile of crap...Can we line up all the new owners for testimonials on this supercharger so that we can count them? I think I only know of one member that is running this setup.

I have called NP personally and I know more than 1 unit is out there. The new ones have a-lot that was re-designed and made better....

I am the East coast dealer for the Patrick/Sprintex SC's for V-Rods. But I will not sell one until all the info is on the table. I know the NP has one on his DX and will let anyone who stops by his shop take it for a ride.

IMHO For stealth they can't be beat. The install takes 8 - 10 hours. I am eagerly awaiting the install instructions on CD from Nigel and when I get them I will post them up.

Let me know if you have any direct questions about the Patrick/Sprintex SC.

Thanks - Sharkey

Yes I was referring to the Vance and Hines supercharger.

Money...is not a factor.Reliability is.

Thank you all guys for your feedback.

Upgrading to 1550cc sounds badass.
Lets just be a little bit more patient till we find out about the new supercharge...

Big bore all the way. Skip the Wiesco slugs and go with CP for MUCH better quality.
