That's why

Maybe I, well yes I, trow my cents in for v-rod purchase.

; Started two wheelers -84, no cure so far. Cancer has cure, this illness aint. Bike-shopping he goes..
Looks; still don't know, who is that master mind in Kansas City responsible of designing this awsome looking splash.
Feel; yes, that grunt, it is so different compared some other similar cu in models and brands. Like stopping power, too, with ABS.
Feel again; after few serious test pulls felt like if I only could live without it. No I cannot. Man needs some hobbies atleast. Among with way of life Seriously, never felt better after financial drainage.
Not least but, what ever my personal needs are, powerband of this V2 will stretch way beyond if necessary.
What led me to buy this DX, best fng bang for a euro.

Yeah I saw a HD 2002 calender I think with anodized A model on it and thought it was the coolest bike I've ever seen. That and the fact it was different then the usual Harley, new, more contemporary design. I didn't get my MC lic until 6 years later and the V-rod was my first choice and the only bike I have ever ridden or owned to date.

I was looking for a softail. Found one but it sold out from under me while I was at work. Frustrated, I looked at other dealers out of state and came across my 2006 D. The moment I saw her I knew she was mine.

I have never liked the look of Vrods so I was surprised that I fell in love so quickly. Funny part is that NOW I think that all VRSC's look great.

I have been cured!

I was in Sturgis when they were first shown to the public. There were 3 of them on Main st. Although i didnt really dig the look the water cooled engine intrigued me.

On the way back to Rapid City that night i was cruising about 100mph on my turbo charged Ultra trying to beat out a storm hot on my heels. The 3 of them flew by me like was standing still in kinda of a synchronized formation.

I then saw the special on how they were developed. Couldn't wait for them to build a touring model. waited and waited and ended to doing my own with the Cyclevision Road rod conversion. Best bike i have ever owned.

That's strange. I went to our local Yamaha dealer to test ride a yamaha 1800 cruiser (can't remember what it was called). I had just gotten rid of a custom built softail that I had numerous problems with and did not want to go back to that, so I was going to get some kind of yamaha, being that my brother has had suck good luck with his.

I rode the bike and it was fine, but nothing really special. I actually started talking numbers with the guy and while talking I noticed the used Vrod sitting in the corner (stock with 3000 miles) I told the guy that I didn't really like the looks of them but I had always been curious as how they rode. So he let me hop on it and take it for a spin...

I bought it the next day!
