I'll bet the worker just leaves them in place because there hasn't been a union position created for an o-ring remover,yet. Same thing w safety wiring,Harley cannot afford the 7 or 8 workers per bolt to get this accomplished.
It probably involves 3 or 4 people to get a bowl movement accomplished while a UAW worker is clocked in.

must be some nafta contract with the crap fuel gauge sensors as well.
