Turbo fuel mileage

Rick's tank

Today I went 148 miles at 4.o gal

At home now went 154.5 on 4.15 gal.

according to V-gauge lite... with a calb. setting at 118

Makes my average at 37...

That shoud be 172 till empty.

We where running 65 - 70 mph plus a few twist of the throttle in there also.

What are you getting?

Im 33 to 35 MPG now. The turbo hurt my Hwy MPG a little bit, but really helped city and spirited riding. I average 28 MPG pre turbo city/spirited driving. I did hit a liitle over 40mpg on all hwy 65MPH run stock. Most hwy was high 30's stock

I just checked yesterday and it was 28 mpg, but that included about 80 miles at 85 to 90 mph and a whole lot of romping around in between. I am a little better behaved today so I will know more when I fill up next.

I do have a 30 tooth pulley I am thinking of putting on, is anybody running a 30?

I had 36.6 the other day with a lot of 80-90 hiway miles.
I can get in to the 40's but that's no fun. It can also drop more when strictly playing.

Jeff, are you running the 30 tooth or 28 tooth front pulley?

Still stock 04 pulley. I seem to be able to get the same hiway mileage as the guys with the longer gear.

Don't think I'd ever change the pulley. I like the gearing for the riding I do.

Forgive my ignorance, is the stock 04 pulley a 28 or 30 tooth pulley? The reason I am asking is because I do have a 30 tooth I was thinking about putting on and I just wanted to know what those that have a turbo and 30 tooth think.
