Hey man, I am gene's (ncvrodracer) cousin. I am having a problem with a clunking noise coming from my tranny. It sounds like it may be coming from the clutch area but I may be coming from some where else in there. I can hear it on both sides but it only does it when it is running and in gear with the clutch out. When I pull the clutch in, the noise will stop after a few seconds. I have been told that I probably have a output shaft bearing going bad. What would you suggest? Gene said you were the man when it comes to Vrod engines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ony the early models and some over seas models have a diff flange. You should not have any problem with leaks.

Saw a thread earlier, can't find it now. Somebody had leaking seals after changing to a 28 tooth pully.

Do some models have a different pully setup? I just changed to Scott's 26 tooth pully and don't see why it should result in leaky seals
