TSII/WEGO mounting locations

My TS2+/WEGO kit just arrived today. I'm about to install it and was curious where everyone that runs them semi-permenantly mounted are mounting the boxes.

Also, does the accessory circuit provide enough juice to power the WEGO or do I need to go relay/direct line to the battery?

My WEGO unit is just laying in the front of my airbox next to my rear air compressor.

I used a spare fuse slot in the fuse block for mine.

Wego

Ken,
Are those spare fuse locations already hot? How do you tape into those? That sounds like a much better idea than splicing into an already hot wire like the lighting circut. TIA.

I used a Posi-Tap. You can get them from Napa and Car quest. You used to be able to get them at Wal-Mart, but they dropped them from thier stores.

You can tap a wire in the fuse area. The Grey one, or the Blue ones will be hot when the igntion is on, but not when the accessories are on. I avoid the guillatine type connectors. They pinch wires, and put weak spots in them.

I used velcro to attach it to the front of the lower airbox. Fit pretty good.

front of my lower airbox, heat shrink wrapped just in case. Fits nicely with the million other things I have stuffed in there.
