iTrader Technician | I would definitely NOT go with the HD heated grips... I put a set on for the Jeannie ride and they didn't work for shit!!! I took them off the next week.

The ratings were second only to Gerbing at $100 less. I liked the controller pocketed in the cuff of the right glove.. Very convenient! ![]()

My experience is the heating coils are in the backs (outside) of the glove and they warm your hands better if you relax your grip. Not very practical in my opinion. They work, just work better when you let go the handle bars. The other nuisance is you can't practically remove the gloves and just walk around unless you remove the switch unit from it's pocket on the cuff. Otherwise you end up looking like a three year old with your mittens hanging from strings.
